Ms. Rajlaxmi Sampath

She fights for the upliftment of the underprivileged. She started volunteering with NGOs in 2015 by helping to manage traffic. She started helping people in need by working with the Crescent Blood Donors, an NGO, that deals with blood donation. Since then, she has worked with more than 10 NGO’s that include Blue Cross, Thozhan, Lit the Light, Team Everest, Feed the Need and Puthiya Udhayam.

Ms. S. Meenakshi

While she is associated with many organisations, she is also a part time RJ with All India Radio. She is also the recipient of the prestigious Yuva Kala Barathy Award. She is an integral part of the Aval team working in slums and academic institutions regarding women empowerment. We are blessed to have ma’am with us.

Dr. Ms. Rama Kashyap

A professor of social work in Madras for nearly 2 decades. As Danida senior program officer at the Royal Danish Embassy, New Delhi from 1997 to 2004, Dr Rama was the Gender and Social Development Adviser. She was the coordinator for all NGO supported activities. Subsequently, she has worked with the UN for a few years. She has been a Fulbright Scholar in Residence at the Clark University, Massachusetts, USA.

Mr. Govind Murugan

An NGO that has been fighting for women empowerment and rights of children. A student organisation started in 2011 in Coimbatore, Dhagam Foundation has now extended its services in 14 districts in Tamil Nadu. Awardee of the Best Youth Achiever by Rotary Club International in 2014, he is proud to say that he will work for the upliftment of women till his last breath.
