Ms. Fakeera Baanwara

While the world assigns different job roles to men and women, Fakeera ma’am shows the strength women possess through her extensive work. One of the co-founder and former director of Creative Movement Therapy Association of India (CMTAI), Fakeera ma’am has also assisted Ms. Deepa Narayan on a much-awaited book on ‘Gender’ which will be out soon. She was also associated with NAZ foundation and worked with groups of transgenders under India HIV/Aids Alliance. She has been working with all age groups and her work aims at breaking inhibitions and conditioning. The major part of her work revolves around gender, body image, sexuality, voice, fear and authenticity.
